● KNIGHTS To Remember

Today in Lake Buena Vista, the Atlanta Braves host the New York Mets for their first game of Spring Training 2015.

Here in Orlando, the UCF Knights – ranked NINTH in the nation – are already winning meaningful games in March.

Last knight, UCF defeated the second-ranked Florida Gators 4-3 in front of a record 4,000-PLUS fans at Jay Bergman Field. It was the first Top-10 matchup in UCF’s baseball history and their 11th win in 12 tries so far in the 2015 season. It was also their 3rd victory against SEC opponents – something the Knights haven’t done since 1987- and their fourth victory over Top-20 opponents. With the win, UCF has a half game lead over Tulane in the American Athletic Conference and leads the league in hitting by almost FIFTY percentage points.

The Knights are now all alone atop the American Athletic Conference, with Columbia University headed in for a three-game series this weekend. You should go and support Orlando’s baseball team. Really, you should.
